Where Can I Serve?

On the night of the Last Supper, Jesus told his disciples, "Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you should also wash one another's feet. (John 13:14)"

Christ Our Savior UMC volunteers serve food to the hungry and beverages to the thirsty, they visit the sick, they care for the lonely, and they provide financial assistance to those with other needs. The volunteers do so much more. They work to keep our church clean and friendly, sing and play instruments with our music team, teach children and adults, lead Girl Scouts, and serve at Walk to Emmaus and Chrysalis events for Christian formation and development. If God is calling you to start a new ministry, the Administrative Council will get involved to support you in obtaining the necessary resources and volunteers.

Christ Our Savior United Methodist Church Community Garden Volunteers

If you have a green thumb or are just able to help others who do, contact the church office to volunteer for our new garden. We need to install drip irrigation piping, fertilize the ground, plant seed, remove weeds, and harvest vegetables for nearby feeding programs, food pantries, and food distribution centers as well as for our neighbors. Call 661-943-2774.
